Electrical Engineer - Building Systems

In this role, you will report to the Electrical Section Manager while collaborating with a multi-discipline team. As an Electrical Engineer with HDR, you will apply your expertise to support various sectors such as industrial and transit engineering. With projects spanning multiple locations, you’ll tackle electrical design challenges while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout project phases

• Perform electrical Building Condition Assessments

• Prepare drawings and supporting calculations

• Coach junior engineering staff on best practices

• Conduct QA/QC reviews on engineering tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience

• Professional engineering license required

• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit

• Familiarity with Canadian electrical codes
