Application Specialist; Yardi Systems Software Support

Position: Application Specialist (Yardi Systems Software Support)
The Application Specialist (Yardi Systems Software Support) will be responsible for the development, management, administration and ongoing enhancement of the company’s financial reporting systems. The Application Specialist (Yardi Systems Software Support) will play a critical role of enhancing business processes and streamlining/automating financial and executive reporting.
Responsibilities
Implementation and maintenance of financial software and system administration
Ensure all financial modules are meeting organizational needs
Work with Accounting and Finance Teams to support, maintain and develop financial systems and processes and financial reporting
Assist with the creation of training materials for system usage
Provide support on all issues relating to system testing, user group communication and application troubleshooting
Participate in process improvement projects
Act as liaison between end users and IT support
Support communities by investigating issues with custom reports
Ensure consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of the system
Creation and modification of financial reports and dashboards
Ad Hoc analysis
Qualifications
Strong background in Yardi support (any vertical)

Experience with Transact-SQL (T-SQL) report writing

Experience with requirements gathering
BI visualization tools (such as Power BI, Qlik View, Tableau) an asset
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access an asset
Proficient with SQL Server an asset
Knowledge of .NET an asset
Experience VBA an asset

Experience with SharePoint an asset
Self-starter, tech-savvy and a fast learner of new financial systems
Organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task in a team environment
Dynamic individual with positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
This is a permanent position located in Toronto, ON
