PACS Administrator Diagnostic Imaging

Position: PACS Administrator for Diagnostic Imaging
Support imaging workflows and optimize systems as a PACS Administrator in the healthcare sector. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient operation of diagnostic imaging information systems.

This role reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, focusing on the administration of RIS and PACS systems. You'll be pivotal in troubleshooting, optimizing workflows, and enhancing system performance. All while working closely with radiologists, technologists, and vendors to provide seamless imaging informatics services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain PACS, RIS, and imaging applications

• Monitor system performance and data integrity

• Troubleshoot DICOM and HL7 interfaces issues

• Support integration of imaging systems with hospital information systems

• Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Health Informatics or related field

• 3–5 years’ experience with PACS and RIS

• Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• PACS Administrator certification preferred
