About This Role

This role is responsible for the successful implementation of client onboarding and subsequent customer journey as customers are transacting with Staples Professional through an eProcurement integration. This includes projects involving punchout catalogs, purchase order (PO) and Invoice ERP transmission. Responsibilities include executing key customer deliverables to the highest satisfaction while effectively managing company costs, project quality and ensuring committed timelines are met.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal and customer meetings, schedule milestones, and notify appropriate internal stakeholders of key points in the project process.
  • Track project progress through  (SFDC) and address and/or correct issues or risks, or notify appropriate business partners for support, consensus or guidance.
  • Design and configure key inter‑systems linkages required for the successful end‑to‑end connection between Staples and its customer.
  • Respond to customer support requests (e.g., login errors, failed orders); provide immediate remedy when possible, log tickets, and troubleshoot to identify root causes.
  • Monitor and support outages or interruptions; manage the communication plan to customer‑facing departments.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Office environment.
  • Minimal travel through Canada.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and SFDC.
  • Strong knowledge of eProcurement industry best practices, standard languages such as cXML, XML, EDI, and familiarity with JSON principles.
  • Bilingual French/English (asset).
  • 2–3 years of project management experience and/or related functional roles in a distribution company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PM processes, negotiation, conflict management, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
  • College or Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, or at least five years of progressive related experience.
