CNC Punch Press Operator(Strippit Global and Amada)

Operate CNC punch press equipment (Strippit Global and Amada) to produce light-gauge fabricated components to specified dimensional tolerances. Responsibilities include tooling setup, program loading and adjustment, tool and part inspection, maintaining a clean and safe work area, collaborating with team members to meet production targets, and manually lifting up to 60 lb or using a hoist for heavier loads. Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Must have skills and experience:

• Extensive experience operating CNC punch presses (Strippit Global and Amada)
• Proven ability to produce parts to close dimensional tolerances
• Proficient reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (Vernier calipers, protractor, tape measure)
• Experience with light-gauge fabrication and shearing operations
• Tooling setup, program loading, and machine parameter adjustment experience
• Forklift operation experience is an asset
• Knowledge of hardware insertion and other metal fabrication processes is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb and safely use a hoist for heavier loads
