Position: Nurse Educator Role in Surgical Services

This position engages you in a cross-site collaboration, focusing on nursing educational needs while ensuring quality patient care. You'll be managing educational initiatives, applying adult learning principles, and collaborating with leaders to enhance clinical practice across surgical clinics. Your extensive experience will be pivotal in nurturing the next generation of peri-operative nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nursing education programs

• Train nurses through practical, hands-on AORN modules

• Evaluate success and effectiveness of educational initiatives

• Utilize sound judgment in clinical practice

• Ensure patient and staff safety compliance

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Perioperative Nursing Certification; a minimum of 5 years in OR

• Bachelor's in nursing required;
Master's preferred or in progress

• Exceptional clinical assessment and leadership skills

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
