Registered Nurse with Critical Care Focus

Mackenzie Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Critical Care team. You’ll apply evidence-based practices and a patient-focused approach while managing client care in a busy environment. Participate in a well-supported transition into a critical care role through the tuition-covered Critical Care Certificate Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage nursing tasks in a demanding unit

• Address patient needs and issues with respect

• Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical decisions

• Uphold safety procedures for patients and staff

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team

Requirements:

• General Class Certificate from the Ontario College of Nurses

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

• Commitment to Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within the year

• 2 to 3 years of acute medical/surgical nursing experience

• Proven experience in patient assessment and care
