Acute Care Registered Nurse

Deliver patient- and family-centered care at Mackenzie Health as a Registered Nurse using acute care expertise and sound clinical judgment. Work independently and collaboratively within an interprofessional team.

This Registered Nurse position provides holistic, quality, and safe care within College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Apply assessment, care planning, education, documentation, and evidence-based nursing practices. Support patients and families while demonstrating Mackenzie Health’s values of excellence, leadership, and empathy.

• Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Provide holistic, quality, and safe patient care
• Use professional judgment and best practice guidelines
• Address issues respectfully and productively
• Support safe, inclusive patient and staff environments

• Current General Class Ontario nursing registration
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• One year of recent acute medical-surgical experience
• Coronary Care Level 1 certificate or completion commitment
• Coronary Care Level 2 certificate or completion commitment
