Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality testing and release of aseptic products and soup batches, including pH, Brix, Total Solids, Density, Sodium, sensory, and organoleptic evaluations.
Perform routine line, product, packaging, case, cooler, glass, weight, pasteurizer, and peroxide checks.
Manage NCRs, product holds, investigations, documentation, and follow-up through closure.
Assist with microbiological testing, plating, sample collection, and external laboratory submissions as required.
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Post-secondary education in Food Science or a related field preferred.
1 year of food manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical and communication skills.
Self-motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong data-entry skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to conduct sensory evaluations, including tasting liquid broth containing meat and seafood ingredients.
This is a one-year role on the night shift, which operates from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am Monday through Sunday. The hourly rate for the role is $29.99 with a night shift premium of $1
