Some of what you will doAs a Print & Services Supervisor at Staples, you will lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence. Job DescriptionYou will perform essential leadership duties to ensure smooth operations and uphold store standards. As a keyholder, you will act as a leader on duty, supporting programs and training throughout the store.
Specifically, you will- Customer Engagement:
Model and coach, our selling model within the store by engaging customers and motivating associates to do the same. Focus on high-performance, results, and a customer-first mindset. You supervise and perform all aspects of production and customer-faced interactions within the print and customer service areas of the store. - Sales Execution:
Execute, communicate, and ensure understanding of flyer and promotional items. Demonstrate a high degree of customer engagement and find ways to maximize sales while effectively assisting customers. - Leadership:
Lead areas in the store, including cash and print, to achieve goals and targets. Cultivate a selling culture with associates by learning, adopting, and teaching new trends, products, and services. - Operational Excellence:
Manage operational excellence and store brand standards in print. - Training & Development:
Dedicate time for self-development and enable others to do the same. Conduct training of associates within the store and inspire continuous learning and development.
- 3+ years of prior customer service experience in retail required, with prior supervisory and coaching experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a print/graphic communications environment with working knowledge of graphic design principles.
- Technical acumen to operate computer and printing equipment.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
