Open Text is looking for a hands-on Lead C++ Developer to join our Voltage Secure Data team based in Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Ottawa, or Waterloo, Ontario. This role involves working on complex software components focused on security, scaling, and cross-platform solutions. Candidates should bring at least seven years of experience in C++ alongside skills in system programming and cryptography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop security-critical software using C/C++ and Java

• Enhance cross-platform cryptographic libraries and APIs

• Troubleshoot software issues and provide scalable solutions

• Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers

• Improve software quality through automated testing and CI/CD

Requirements:

• 7+ years of C++ software development experience

• Strong systems programming in Linux, Windows, or UNIX

• Proficient in applied cryptography concepts

• Experience with API design and SDK development

• Strong communication skills in English
