Key Responsibilities:
Play a key role in the company’s month-end close process by posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and producing financial statements and related reporting
Collaborate with the company’s Finance team to perform monthly variance analysis and support the company’s annual budget process
Assist with annual financial statement audit and tax preparation processes
Support the financial/accounting integration of acquired companies
Develop expertise in company’s accounting system (Sage Intacct) and other key systems
Identify and drive potential process improvements and efficiencies
Assist with other critical projects as needed
All other accounting duties within the position level and authority.
Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
Thoroughness and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles (corporate accounting preferred)
Experience with Sage Intacct General ledger and month-end close experience
Experience working in a multi-entity corporate environment
