Work in a professional, responsive manner to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Cook and prepare a variety of food products, including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, and other items using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List.

• Promote the 5 Spot culture and brand
• Know all menu items
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards and adhere to them
• Use industrial kitchen equipment
• Maintain a safe and respectful working environment using proper food handling skills and safety guidelines
• Keep kitchen work areas clean and organized
• Follow prep instructions as laid out by Management
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide items
• Follow all company operating policies and procedures
• Support Management decisions and actions

• Two years kitchen experience; on‑the‑job training provided
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, bend and reach
• Ability to take direction
• Basic math skills
• Ability to follow recipes
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation

• Starting pay of $16 per hour with opportunity for advancement based on benchmarks and performance evaluations
• Monthly bus pass assistance provided
