Overview
Fountain Service Technician sought to join The Lake Doctors, Inc. to install, service, maintain and build floating fountains and pond aeration equipment for a variety of customers. Availability:
Immediate. Job Type: Full-time,
Schedule:
8-hour shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience PLUS commissions. Office/Branch:
Savannah/Richmond Hill, GA.
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fountain brands, as well as assist in the assembly and installation of new units
- Maintain communication with Homeowners Associations, Customers, Vendors, Trade Professionals, Golf Courses, Apartments and other referral sources in the community to grow The Lake Doctors, Inc. business
- Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, and safety rules
- Possess good time management, organizational and communication skills
- Highly motivated individual that works well on their own
- Strong team player
- Comfortable speaking with customers to discuss fountain and aeration needs
- High school or equivalent (required). Some college helpful but not essential
- Physical strength and agility to operate equipment such as boats, all-terrain vehicles, trucks and other equipment in outdoor environments
- Ability to safely launch a boat on uneven terrain from a trailer and move a jon/utility boat to the shoreline up to 50 ft
- Ability to pull electrical wire/power cables, dig trenches, bury conduit/power cables and install tubing for aeration installations
- Must be able to service fountain motors of varying sizes, including occasional lifting of fountains 50–100 lbs
- A valid, clean Driver's License and ability to be insured
- Full-time only
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Background checks, motor vehicle record checks and drug screening
Willingness to travel:
This job normally requires daily travel from the employee's assigned work station to various work sites.
