Adult Education Substitute Teacher (Hourly/Part Time/Temporary)
Position available with the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) in Richmond, CA. The role supports adult education classrooms for the school year.
Responsibilities- Teach adult learners in assigned courses as a substitute teacher.
- Adhere to district curriculum and instructional standards.
- Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Certified with a California teaching credential or a valid 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit, or any CA clear teaching credential including Adult Education Designated Subjects.
- Fingerprint clearance through the WCCUSD before hiring.
- Official transcripts (signed, sealed, unopened envelope).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
