Maintenance Manager Compensation: $120,000 — $130,000 bonus benefits. (salaried, exempt)
A day in the life Start your morning reviewing the maintenance backlog and aligning your crew’s priorities with operations. You’ll set the daily plan in the Computerized Maintenance Management System, confirm materials are on hand, and brief technicians and contractors on job safety analyses before work begins. When an unexpected issue emerges—a pump vibration, a valve leak, or a turbine performance dip—you lead rapid troubleshooting, convene the right voices, and drive to root cause and corrective action.
Midday may find you walking down the sulfuric acid and regeneration units, validating preventive maintenance completion and quality, checking on rotating equipment, and verifying compliance with Chemtrade’s Responsible Care standards. You’ll mentor technicians, align training plans, and ensure the team has what they need—from bearings and filters to pipe, valves, and fittings—to execute safely and efficiently. As the day closes, you update KPIs, prepare for upcoming outages, and review budget and schedule risks.
