Job Summary

We are experts in the beer, wine and spirits industry looking for individuals who share our passion for customer service and thrive in a fast‑paced selling environment. As a Sales Representative you will cultivate and grow account relationships located in San Francisco to maximize the sales of supplier brands through effective planning, selling execution and communication.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $55,000 (paid semi‑monthly)
  • Uncapped 2% sales commission

Job Responsibilities
  • Call on accounts and cover daily routes using an efficient routing pattern.
  • Analyze the account base, complete necessary surveys and ensure compliance.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations balancing company priorities and customer needs.
  • Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permissible.
  • Educate account staff through training seminars.
  • Manage customer account receivables and process credits and returns.
  • Service accounts by delivering products, handling issues and referring to management as appropriate.
  • Strategize to achieve objectives using product programming information and accurate historical purchase data.
  • Maintain inventory awareness and alert management to demand fluctuations.
  • Achieve distribution, volume and activity goals for supplier brands.
  • Ensure maximum brand visibility using current point of sale materials.
  • Obtain payments for company by collecting checks or remittance from accounts where legally permissible.
  • Support account openings and develop opening orders for new accounts in collaboration with Field Sales Manager.
  • Participate in sales calls and sales blitzes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and presentation software.
  • Results‑oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to multi‑task, work independently or in a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fast‑paced, high‑volume team environment experience.
  • At least 21 years of age and a valid Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers regularly.
  • Reach overhead, squat, bend regularly.
  • Carry and lift 45–65 pounds.
