Inside Sales Associate – New Territory (Growth Role)
Galaxy Desserts, also known as Brioche Pasquier – Galaxy Desserts, is part of the Brioche Pasquier family of bakers, based in France. We hand‑craft, bake, freeze, and package all products ourselves, offering Brioche, Croissants, and Frozen Desserts for retail and food service. Our products are produced in France or at our facility in Richmond, California, and we source ingredients from high‑quality producers while minimizing environmental impact and supporting our community.

This newly created Inside Sales Associate role is focused on launching, developing, and supporting new customer accounts and territory‑specific initiatives, rather than servicing existing books of business. The role partners closely with the Sales Manager assigned to the new territory and serves as the internal coordinator and execution lead for new customer onboarding, commercial execution, and cross‑functional alignment related to that territory.
Key Responsibilities- Support Sales Manager(s) in executing new‑territory sales strategies, customer onboarding, and account launches.
- Assist with pricing builds, bids, and proposals for new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution to ensure new customers and products are launched successfully and on time.
- Act as the internal point of coordination for territory‑specific initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Production, and Quality.
- Track action items, timelines, and deliverables to ensure commitments made to new customers are met.
- Monitor territory‑specific sales performance, budgets, and forecasts.
- Track customer costs related to promotions, trade marketing, and logistics within the assigned territory.
- Provide visibility into variances and support corrective action planning.
- Set up and maintain customer data, pricing, agreements, and documentation for new accounts only.
- Support invoicing setup, collections follow‑up, and deductions related to the assigned territory.
- Troubleshoot operational issues by coordinating internally to meet customer requirements.
- Represent and uphold Brioche Pasquier – Galaxy Desserts’ values, brand standards, and commitment to quality.
- Build credibility through responsiveness, follow‑through, and strong internal collaboration.
- Contribute to a structured, positive, and growth‑oriented Inside Sales team environment.
- Support other Inside Sales Associates with cross‑functional duties and territories.
- Master’s degree preferred but a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.
- 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Account Coordination (CPG preferred).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems.
- Ownership mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Sales Managers and cross‑functional partners.
- Adaptability to changing priorities associated with growth initiatives.
