Ryder System, Inc. is immediately hiring a Dedicated SOLO Non CDL Driver in Richmond, CA. We want the right employee to drive with us at Ryder.

Ryder Drivers earn $1,195 – $1,399 or more Weekly.
Hourly Pay: $27.18 per hour
, Hours per week: 40 + hours
, paid weekly, with Paid Training
, Schedule:
Tuesday – Friday (Some Saturdays Mandatory),
Start Time: 5:00 AM

Route & Equipment:

• Deliver SOLO to:
  Gilroy, Bay Area, Redding, Lake Tahoe
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Required:
  
  Minimum 6 months straight truck experience
• Trailer type:
  Reefer, 16', 24' & 26'
• Equipment:
  Manual Pallet Jack, Hand Truck & Lift Gate
• Freight:
  Very heavy touch freight; beverage distribution preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a vehicle in compliance with all safety regulations
• Perform continuous training and provide customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records for loading/unloading freight or assist with these tasks as required by the customer
• Perform any other tasks as assigned
