Role DescriptionThe Lead Carpenter is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Richmond, IN. This role involves overseeing carpentry tasks, managing on‑site construction activities, and ensuring the completion of projects to the highest standards. Responsibilities include framing, finish carpentry, operating power tools, managing materials, and leading a team to deliver quality craftsmanship. The Lead Carpenter will collaborate with the project team to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to project deadlines.
Qualifications- Proficient in Carpentry and Framing techniques to construct and assemble building frameworks and structures.
- Skilled in using Power Tools and Hand Tools for various construction and carpentry tasks.
- Experience in Finish Carpentry to complete trim, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork with precision.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team on‑site.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices to ensure a secure working environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Previous experience in commercial or residential construction strongly preferred.
