Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a manufacturing organization in Richmond, Indiana. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who excels at supporting customers, managing order activity, and maintaining accurate information across multiple business systems. The role focuses on delivering responsive service, resolving order and product inquiries, and partnering with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support authorized, detail-focused, and premier customer accounts by providing timely and accurate service for a wide range of inquiries.

• Enter, update, and review customer orders in company systems, ensuring all order details are complete and accurate.

• Prepare and issue order confirmations, while responding to requests related to pricing, product availability, and delivery timing.

• Handle customer concerns and complaint cases through the appropriate internal platforms, following established service procedures.

• Coordinate return authorizations, stock rotation requests, and adjustment allowance submissions in accordance with company guidelines.

• Manage product expedite requests and assist with new item setup activities, including confirming item availability and shipment dates.

• Recommend suitable product alternatives by using company resources, websites, and reference materials to address customer needs.

• Communicate effectively with both internal departments and external customers, including support for consignment inventory requirements and special projects.

• Assist with onboarding and training activities for new team members and participate in required company meetings.
