• Report directly to the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
• Support coaching operations and provide coaching and supervision in practices, skill instruction, and game‑day operations.
• Recruit student‑athletes by contacting prospective student‑athletes, coordinating campus visits, and attending events to promote IU East as an academic and athletic opportunity.
• Provide cross‑team support as a resource for other Athletic programs and offer temporary assistance at practices or matches as requested.
• Provide departmental assistance by supporting additional Athletic department operations and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of coaching soccer or collegiate playing experience required.
• College playing experience, goal‑keeping experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and first aid certification required; CPR certification preferred.
• Strong commitment to the student‑athlete concept and knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
• Proficient communication skills and ability to recruit, coach, and teach highly talented student‑athletes.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.
• Certification in basic first aid required.
• American Heart Instructor Certification in CPR preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
• Mathematical proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute ratios and percent, interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Adherence to all policies, rules, and regulations of the university, the River State Conference, and the NAIA.
• Ability to recruit, coach, and teach highly talented student‑athletes.

IU East Campus – 2325 Chester Boulevard, Richmond, Indiana. This is an in‑person position.
