Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med - PT Weekdays

Part‑time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Psychiatric Mental Health – 3 weekday days of availability required. Provide mental health services in a long‑term care facility setting with an integrated team of physicians, NPs, PAs, psychiatric therapists, and support staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy consistent with standards for family, geriatric, or internal medicine in long‑term care.
  • Collaborate with MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, PAs, psychotherapists in integrated care plans.
  • Participate in monthly case conferences, journal review, and annual educational meetings.
  • Assist medical assistant with scheduling, charting, and administrative duties.
  • Maintain high‑quality clinical documentation in integrated EHR.
  • Flexibility to create work‑life balance and independence from appointment clock.
Qualifications / Education
  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution AND current RN license in the state of practice. Current and valid critical‑care certifications required.
  • OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, pass the NCAAP certification exam, current state PA license, and specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired.
