Restorative CNA/Wellness Instructor position working with the Rehab Therapy Team. Job Type: Constant PRN.

Schedule:

16 hours across 2 shifts of 8 hours each, including weekends. Setting:
Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness.

Location:

Richmond, IN 47374 (2 locations – 10 minutes apart). Aegis Therapies, a national provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to join our team.

As a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care, you will work with the therapy team to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training onsite. No restorative experience necessary, CNA Certification Required.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Work with a dedicated restorative caseload in programs such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.
