Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is recruiting for an experienced Staff Perfusionist with at least 3-5 years’ experience at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. This location is a one surgeon account, doing an average of 80 to 100 open heart cases (primarily CABG and valves) and 30 to 40 TAVR per year (on standby). ATS with heart cases and rarely for non-heart cases.

Perfusion responsible for IABP and rare ECMO. Two CCP account with call shared equally. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families as well as being a self-motivated candidate that values team collaboration, professional development, and a diligent work ethic.

Richmond is about 75 miles west of Indianapolis and has a population of 35,000. Richmond has a quaint little downtown that contains most amenities available but on a limited scale. It is near population centers within easy driving distances such as Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, as well as, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati, in Ohio. Airports in Cincinnati, Dayton and Indianapolis all within 90 minutes.

Public and private schools available in the area. Outdoor recreational activities include hiking and biking trails, public parks, and several golf courses in the surrounding area.

• Must have bachelor’s or master’s degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible to become certified after one year of employment
• Must also have current BLS certification through either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• 3 to 5 years plus experience
• Supervisory experience encouraged to apply
