We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical or Counseling Psychologist for a 12‑month, full-time on-site contract. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The contract may be extended beyond the initial term or potentially transition into a long‑term position.
- Administer initial and annual psychological assessments for all patients.
- Conduct psychological testing, scoring, interpretation, and prepare comprehensive written reports.
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical treatment meetings.
- Provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented therapeutic interventions in both individual and group formats.
- Maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with patients and their families/caregivers; facilitate family therapy as needed.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and psycho educational interventions for campus-wide active treatment groups.
- Document all patient interactions in accordance with facility, departmental, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide recommendations for specialized psychological evaluations and treatments aligned with the master treatment plan.
- Ensure patient involvement and participation in treatment planning and implementation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on facility needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. - Valid license as a Psychologist in the State of Indiana.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theory, clinical practice, and Indiana laws governing psychological services.
- Ability to integrate diverse data sources to assess evolving clinical needs and adjust psychological practices accordingly.
- Proficiency in administering, interpreting, and applying psychological assessment tools to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of APA ethical guidelines, Indiana statutes, and HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to supervise master’s-level clinicians and practicum students, if applicable.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
