Compensation

Base hourly rate: $20.73. 8‑hour shifts with 7 on / 2 off or 7 on / 3‑day weekend off. Shift differential of $0.50–$0.75 for hours worked between 3 pm and 7 am.

Your Day To Day
  • Advocate and follow safe work practices; report hazardous conditions; maintain security procedures; wear protective clothing as required.
  • Clean work areas and equipment as needed; keep area neat and orderly.
  • Monitor equipment for proper operation and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Assist with outage work, including cleaning ducts, chains, fans, collection chamber, pit, equipment during downtimes.
  • May operate fork/clamp trucks and fill propane tanks.
  • Hand taping and stacking when equipment is down.
  • Maintain bag house by changing dust bags as required.
  • Perform painting duties as directed by Shift Supervisor.
  • Load empty 55‑gallon drums or scrap material into open top container.
  • Operate push sweeper and clean side chambers on bagging equipment.
  • Operate manual stretch wrapper equipment.
  • Train less experienced personnel.
  • Perform janitorial duties and general facility cleanup.
  • Relieve other employees for breaks and lunch periods.
  • Perform blend/reed duties as directed.
  • Perform recycling duties per guidelines.
  • Sort and fill bags on the bagger unit.
  • Assist with or unplug baggers when needed.
  • Keep units supplied with full boxes of bags.
  • Perform other work as directed by Shift Supervisor.

  • Proven ability to learn new technology and equipment operation.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be respirator ready.
