Position SummaryPerform machine repairs on die casting machines, support equipment (punch presses, robots, etc.), secondary equipment, facilities, and other projects.
Essential Functions- Perform emergency repairs and rebuild machinery as needed across the plant.
- Diagnose electrical and pneumatic issues, interpret schematics, and take corrective actions.
- Understand PLC operations and use PLC interfaces for troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot CNC machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, automation, and robotics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Heavy manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. Tasks may include working at heights, bending, and awkward positions.
Physical DemandsRequires physical exertion, including occasional lifting up to 70 pounds, standing for long periods, and moving about the facility.
Qualifications- Technical school diploma or at least one year of maintenance experience; or a high school diploma with five years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently and supervise small teams.
- Knowledge of TPM activities, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
