** About The Opportunity
** Operates console that controls automatic strapping equipment to place strapping around units of corrugated paperboard products.
* Reads production orders to determine arrangement of strapping around units of corrugated paperboard products
* Observes stacks/units moving along conveyor to identify product, and to detect defective product, and presses console buttons to strap units/stacks to predetermined specifications
* Controls conveyor that transfers strapped units/stacks to storage or delivery platform
* Stops equipment to clear jams
* Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction
* Keeps record of production and equipment performance
