Industrial Finishing Specialist (Wet Paint)
Own the finish. Your mission is to transform raw steel into customer-ready product using precise wet-spray techniques—getting it right, safely, and on schedule.

Impact of the Role Deliver consistent primer and paint finishes that meet customer specifications.

Protect throughput by catching defects early and keeping equipment dialed in.

Support on-time performance without compromising quality or safety.

How You’ll Contribute Prepare components for coating; stage, load, and unload parts on fixtures.

Interpret specifications, color codes, mixing charts, and both written and verbal instructions.

Apply liquid coatings using professional wet-spray methods.

Operate and care for spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.

Monitor gauges and observe operation to identify abnormalities or defects.

Conduct visual checks to verify paint flow, film build, and overall finish quality.

Follow safety practices and sustain a clean, organized booth and work area.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of finishing equipment.

Manage the use, storage, and disposal of coatings and related waste correctly.

What You’ll Need to Succeed Previous industrial painting experience with wet application (required).Good understanding of painting equipment mechanics and basic repair.

Strong attention to detail; able to work independently.

Comfort operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Track record of maintaining safe, clean working conditions.

Where You’ll Work Manufacturing environment with routine use of paint equipment. You may be exposed to loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Work can involve chemicals identified on accessible Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Expect exposure to significant temperature shifts during an eight-hour shift.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.Second
