Route Driver; Smartservice; Part Time

We are hiring immediately for a part time ROUTE DRIVER (SMARTSERVICE) position.

Location: Reid Health - 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374. (Online applications only.)

Requirement: Previous driving experience preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Docs for a day in the life of a Canteen Route Driver available online. The role involves driving a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory. Responsibilities include ensuring timely service to clients and customers at all times.

• Prior to each day’s route, ensure that the truck is properly loaded with all required product.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand carts with totes of product, walk to the machines, load the machines, and return empty totes to the truck.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines and report defective equipment to maintenance.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all complaints to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, and product; handle cash as required.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with established procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license; safe operation of company vehicles required.
• Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
