Job Summary /Basic FunctionsThe Biological Sciences department is seeking undergraduate students to serve as tutors in the department's Peer Mentoring Center. Students will be responsible for providing in-person one-on-one or group settings. Some evenings may be required. Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required. Must have a 3.5 GPA and a BIO major.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:
Must be enrolled at EKU for the spring 2026 semester.
Undergraduate Biological Sciences student, or related major, at junior or senior standing, or exceptional sophomore minimum 3.5 GPA.
A grade of a least a B or higher in some upper-level BIO coursework (e.g. BIO 307/308, BIO 315, BIO 320, etc.).
