The Department of Aviation at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach courses in Aviation. Courses will be in an online or traditional classroom modality.

Courses may include, but are not limited to:

• Aviation law
• UAS
• Management/Leadership
• Human Factors and Safety
• Flight

Master’s degree in Aviation, or a related field with at least five years of work experience in aviation will be required. FAA Instructor Certificate is desired.

Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs.

Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

Unofficial transcripts can be submitted with the application. Official transcripts will be required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.

• Master’s degree in Aviation, or a related field with at least five years of work experience in Aviation.

• FAA Instructor Certificate

• Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students.
