• 1. Serve as a peer mentor
• 2. Recruit students for the AFA minor by attending spotlight events
• 3. Help plan a monthly student and faculty discussion series at the Center and identify panelists
• 4. Organize and promote AFA/CISE-related events and activities on campus and social media
• 5. Identify and post educational articles on the black experience on AFA/CISE social media platforms
• 6. Design and circulate fliers for AFA/CISE-related events and activities
• 7. Facilitate the AFA monthly spotlight series for faculty, staff, and students
• 8. Identify opportunities for collaboration with other departments on campus
• 9. Facilitate “Africana Night Flix” monthly film series
• 10. Help plan events organized by student organizations
• 11. Organize biannual career workshops led by AFA alums.

Experience: Must be enrolled at EKU
