** Uses hand tools such as but not limited to air chisel, chop saw, plasma cutters, grinders, hammer drill, pry-bar, and bench vice to perform destructive and/or nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics. Use of visual aids and computer programs.

* Supports productions on the processes that are appropriate and contain suspect or defective material or services to avoid further processing.
* Uses hand tools such as but not limited to cutter, pry-bar, and bench vice to perform destructive and/or nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics.
* Uses power tools such as but not limited to air-hammer, chop saw, plasma cutter, and hand grinder.
* Inspects materials, parts or products for conformance to specifications and contacts the Supervisor to discuss non-conformances.
* Operates cutters, grinders, and press equipment to break welds. Along with the use of nitric acid, in order to conduct acid and measurement tests with lecoscope
* Uses measurement tools such as but not limited to calipers and micrometers to ensure adequate welds of parts or products.
