American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery Recovery Postpartum position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in the Obstetrics unit within a hospital setting
• Provides care to Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum patients
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• AWHONN FHM, STABLE, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary care teams
• Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of date of birth required for consideration

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care centered on patient and family needs throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Perform patient assessments, implement care plans, and document according to hospital policies and nursing standards
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge processes including patient education and care coordination
• Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate
