Job Summary

Sherwin-Williams is now hiring a Regional Tanker Driver based out of the Richmond, KY area! You can earn an average of $107, annually, depending on miles driven and activities performed. This role is part of our growing award‑winning private fleet. As a professional driver, you are responsible for safe, on‑time pick‑up and deliveries to manufacturing sites and other duties required in the Midwest Region.

You will contact employees and customers, operate a commercial motor vehicle and heavy machinery, and handle raw materials and finished merchandise. The company reviews criminal history to protect safety and reputation.

• Transport and deliver to destinations in a safe, timely manner
• Comply with all DOT requirements and FMCSA regulations
• Maintain accurate DOT trip logs
• Conduct pre and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Complete tank wash
• Provide excellent customer service

• Must be a current Sherwin‑Williams employee
• Must have a valid Class‑A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
• Must have at least five (5) years of Class‑A combination (tractor/trailer) road driving experience in the last ten (10) years or 1 year of Sherwin Class‑A combination tractor trailer driving experience
• Must have both a Hazardous Materials and a Tanker endorsement, or be willing to obtain both upon conditional offer
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship needed now or in the future
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for communication, sign understanding and record entry

• Have both a Hazardous Materials and a Tanker endorsement
• Have tight‑backing experience (backing a CMV into tight spaces)
• Have freight touch experience (unloading and moving freight before and after delivery)

• Average annual salary range: $107,900 to $113,600, depending on miles driven and activities performed
• Earn $0.76 (includes $0.10 per diem) plus activity pay; eligible for safety bonus and subject to company plans
• Consistent freight and miles
• Shift: Wednesday – Sunday/Monday (start/end times vary)
• Newer Volvo automatics, shared trucks primarily pulling tanker trailers
