* Inputs and transfers reports and supplements into computer Prepares records for scanning and archiving.
* Assists and responds to public or other law enforcement personnel at lobby window or by telephone and/or directs to appropriate
* Answers incoming mail, fax and NCIC/TCIC for inquiries on reports and background
* Files and maintains filing system for all official accident, case and jail records for the Maintains security of all records.
* Maintains case fund and prepares weekly cash
* Registers sex offenders according to mandated
* Prepares TLETS
* Prepares computer
* Prepares information requested in subpoenas for court appearances and information requested in Open Records
* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate countyQualifications
* High School Diploma/GED;
Six months job related experience.  Good computer and typing skills. Working knowledge of database software.  Good verbal and written communication skills along with bookkeeping and organizational skills.  Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.  Ability to prioritize own work.  TCIC/NCIC Less than Full Access within first year of employment.
