Postition Overview

IES Residential is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. Previous project management and construction operations experience is preferred. We are looking for a highly organized, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively oversee project execution, manage teams, and support operational success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction and operational projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, office staff, and field personnel regarding project requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to support successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and financial performance to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues, delays, and operational concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams and field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, documentation, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
• Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous project management, construction management, or operations management experience preferred.
• Electrical industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computers, project management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze project data and make sound business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
• English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
• Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology.
• Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
• Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
