Gastroenterologist Needed – Houston Methodist – Cinco Ranch

Join Houston Methodist’s Specialty Physician Group as a Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Gastroenterologist at a new comprehensive care center located in West Houston/Katy’s Cinco Ranch area. The facility offers primary care, orthopedics, sports medicine, physical therapy, specialty care and an onsite lab for rapid test results.

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic GI conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—primary care, surgery, oncology—to optimize patient care.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Texas medical license in good standing (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience as a new resident/fellow, junior or senior is welcome.
