General Description

Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment to meet department/division needs to ensure student success. Pay for this position is based on a 9-month contract working fall and spring semesters. Start date for this position is August 2026. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching online, in person, and dual credit classes.

Eligibility

Salary range depends on experience:

  • Up to a Masters: $49,550 – $54,550
  • Doctorate: $56,050 – $61,050

The maximum number of years of experience an employee may receive is ten years.

Requirements
  • Master's degree (in Government or other discipline).
  • Minimum 18 graduate hours in Government from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Attach documents: copy of college transcript(s) showing completion of a master's degree and 18 graduate hours, Curriculum Vitae/Resume, Cover Letter outlining teaching philosophy.

    Two personal days per year
  • Holidays: 25 paid holidays per year for twelve‑month full‑time employees
  • Sick Days: 1.5 sick days per month (max 60 days). Nine‑month employees accrue 13.5 days/year. Twelve‑month employees accrue 18.5 days/year.
  • Vacation Days: 12 vacation days per year for twelve‑month employees working 40 hours/week.
