SFC Houston West LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® is looking for enthusiastic part‑time Chef Instructors to help us cultivate COOLinary Curiosity in Kids®! If you’re passionate about cooking, have experience working with kids, and are looking for a fun, flexible, and meaningful part‑time job, we want to meet you!

  Enjoy creating a hands‑on, dynamic learning experience for kids aged 3‑18.

• Lead Hands‑On Cooking Classes:
  Teach kids how to chop, mix, measure, and create healthy, exciting recipes from around the world.
• Spark Creativity:
  Introduce kids to new ingredients, cuisines, and cultures in an engaging, interactive way.
• Stay Organized:
  Prepare for classes using provided curricula, shop for fresh ingredients, and set up fun, safe kitchen environments.
• Be the Face of Fun:
  Inspire and encourage kids as they gain confidence in the kitchen.

• Experienced in working with kids of various ages and backgrounds.
• Available to teach 1‑hour classes (on campus approximate 90 min) at least 2 days a week between 2‑5 PM, Monday‑Friday.
• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing groups of 8‑14 kids. Must arrive on campus 15‑30 minutes prior to scheduled class time. Varies per school.
• Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4‑12 weeks.
• Have or be willing to obtain a Serv Safe Food Handler Certification.
• Lift up to 30 lbs to store and transport materials.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation.
• Must pass state and FBI background checks as a condition of employment.

As a Sticky Fingers Cooking® instructor, you’ll travel to different schools in your area to bring “the kitchen” to kids. Using our tried‑and‑true recipes, you’ll teach them essential cooking skills, food safety, and the history and culture behind each dish—all while fostering creativity and confidence. From slicing and dicing to learning about global cuisines, kids will have a blast in your classes, and so will you!
