Job Description:

** Lead Parkway Fellowship Kids at Morton so children can find and follow Jesus, and families experience a safe, welcoming, and consistent ministry.

* Qualifications:

** 1. At least 2–3 years of experience leading or serving in church Kids Ministry; experience in a large, multi-location church is preferred
2. Demonstrate a fruitful, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus and a working knowledge of God’s Word
3. Lead with humility, integrity, and a “whatever it takes” attitude
4. Be organized, relational, and able to lead staff and volunteers while supporting the mission and leadership of Parkway Fellowship
** Responsibilities:
*** Champion Parkway Fellowship’s vision and Parkway Fellowship Kids’ mission with Morton families, staff, and volunteers
* Lead, coach, and delegate to Morton Ministry Associates, staff, and volunteer leaders
* Oversee Sunday ministry from birth through 5th grade, including worship, small groups, check-in, guest follow-up, and new believer follow-up
* Implement shared curriculum, safety standards, policies, and systems while adapting room flow to Morton
* Recruit, train, schedule, care for, and develop volunteer teams for Sunday services and Wednesday Kids Small Groups
* Coordinate weekly lessons, media, supplies, and classroom readiness for birth through 5th grade
* Manage Morton Kids Ministry spending within approved budgets and financial procedures with administrative support
* Use approved curriculum; coordinate proposed changes or locally created materials with the Lead Kids Pastor
* Track attendance, volunteer health, follow-up, and measurable goals; report results and needs to the Lead Kids Pastor
* Cast vision for engaging, age-appropriate Sunday experiences that help children find and follow Jesus
* Oversee Morton Kids Ministry events, including VBS, Pine Cove City, and ministry-wide initiatives
* Oversee Wednesday Kids Small Groups, lesson readiness, supplies, and ongoing leader training
* Care for children and families; identify facility and operational needs with the Morton Location Pastor
