Physical Therapy Technician/Front Desk Clerk

Location:

Williams Way, Oak Bend Medical Center, Richmond, TX.

• Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist; assist with supervised patient treatments and maintain the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.
• Front desk duties including scheduling patients, answering phone calls and verifying insurance.

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience considered.
• Graduation from a technical program preferred.

• Previous experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

• Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or another pre-approved accredited program.

• Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
• Successful completion of department‑specific and/or hospital‑required training courses.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
• Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
