Lennox International is hiring an IT Strategic Sourcing Manager for a full-time, direct-hire role based in Richardson, Texas. This position leads technology procurement initiatives, negotiates complex enterprise IT contracts, and develops strategic supplier relationships across software, cloud services, hardware, cybersecurity, and telecommunications. You will work 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, partnering with IT leadership, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to optimize technology spending and drive measurable cost savings.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across enterprise software, SaaS, cloud services, IT hardware, cybersecurity, and telecommunications
- Negotiate complex, high-value IT contracts, including pricing, licensing structures, service-level agreements, and renewals
- Manage competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and vendor evaluations
- Develop category sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and spend optimization
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and supplier performance
- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership on technology investments and contract negotiations
- Conduct spend analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations, and financial assessments
- Manage contract lifecycle activities, supplier risk, and commercial terms
- Required
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or contract negotiations
- Strong experience negotiating enterprise IT contracts
- Hands-on experience negotiating software licensing, SaaS agreements, cloud services, IT hardware, or other technology contracts
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex, high-value agreements and delivering measurable cost savings
- Experience managing RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and competitive sourcing initiatives
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, contract terms, and IT procurement strategies
- Experience working with senior IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong financial analysis, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Preferred
- Experience negotiating agreements with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, or similar enterprise providers
- Global sourcing and multinational supplier management experience
- Software license optimization and cloud consumption models
- Managing large IT procurement budgets and strategic supplier portfolios
