This Position

Reports to:

the Senior Pastor

• Minimum of 4 years of full-time ministry experience (preferably in a church of 1,000+ and/or multi-site environment)
• A growing, vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep love of God’s Word
• A proven track record of building, leading, and multiplying teams
• A humble, collaborative leadership style with strong communication and relational skills
• Seminary degree preferred, but not required

• Champion the mission and long-term vision of Parkway’s Kids Ministry, ensuring every program, event, and environment helps kids find and follow Jesus
• Translate vision into clear strategy, goals, and execution across all locations

• Lead, coach, and develop Kids Ministry staff and key leaders
• Build a culture defined by spiritual depth, excellence, joy, and creativity

• Recruit, train, and empower volunteers who love kids and love Jesus
• Create clear on-ramps, leadership pathways, and a culture where volunteers thrive

• Partner closely with Student Ministry to ensure a cohesive discipleship pathway from preschool through graduation

• Oversee engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and environments that help faith come alive
• Inspire and encourage creativity while maintaining Biblical clarity and consistency

• Implement scalable systems for guest assimilation, new believer follow-up, parent partnership, and leadership pipelines as the ministry expands

• Provide directional leadership for Kids Ministry at the main location
• Collaborate closely with Kids Pastors at other Parkway locations
• Work alongside the Senior Pastor and executive team to align Kids Ministry goals with Parkway’s overall mission and growth strategy
