Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct nursing care to individuals and groups of patients according to physician orders and applicable patient care standards.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate or Certificate from an accredited program for Licensed Vocational Nursing.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in clinical nursing is desired.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Certified Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support within one year of hire is suggested. Computer skills.
