Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients in the ICU. The staff nurse provides direction to non-licensed assertive personnel in providing direct patient care. The staff nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.

- Direct non-licensed assertive personnel in providing direct patient care.
- Support the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff and the hospital7s objectives.
Graduation from an acredited nursing program.
Minimum Work ExperiencePrevious clinical nursing experience. Previous CV/Post-Op open heart experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse, or Graduate Nurse, Board Eligible.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
- Completion of Advance Cardiac Life Support within six months of hire.
- Interpersonal and critical thinking skills required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic clinical, computer & typing skills.
