- Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed.
- Patrols precinct to deter crime.
- Assists public within scope of authority.
- Secures and preserves crime scenes.
- May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Basic TCOLE certification.
- One-year job experience or two years of college (60 Credit Hours).
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.
- Valid Texas drivers license.
- Firearms proficiency.
SALARY RANGE: Volunteer - No Salary
All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS). Full-time employees also enjoy a wide-range of great benefits.
