Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our in-office team in Richmond, VA. This role will oversee key financial functions across multiple entities and manage direct reports within the accounting department.

As the senior accounting leader in a small, close-knit office, you’ll have autonomy over financial operations and the authority to make informed decisions that directly impact the business. We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, leads by example, and brings a leadership mindset to day-to-day tasks. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or industrial services
• Experience managing or supervising accounting staff
• Strong understanding of payroll, tax compliance, and insurance processes
• Familiarity with job costing and multi-entity financial management
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Foundation software is a plus)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Location: On-site at our Richmond, VA office
